Plans, not products. The Free plan is not a trial of Team and nothing on Team is held back to make Enterprise look bigger.

How it is counted

Seats you can explain to finance, limits that explain themselves

A seat is a person who writes

Write members hold a seat from the day they first run the command in one of your repositories. Owners and Admins who write code are seats. Read members and viewers are not, so a lead, a product manager or a client can watch every project at no cost.

A limit tells you what to do next

When an account or an organisation reaches a limit, the message in the session and in the console says which limit, when it resets and which plan lifts it. Never a dead end and never a number without a name.

Usage you can read from anywhere

Per account, per organisation and per project, against the plan's limits, in the console and from the command line, and the two agree. Cost in money sits beside the tokens wherever the model's price is known.

With us

When you want it run with you

Published prices where the scope is fixed, a quote where it is not. No hourly billing anywhere. Every engagement ends with your team on the Team plan, running the method without us.

Questions we get

Before you pick one

What happens when the trial ends?

Before it starts, the console tells you how long it runs and what happens at the end. When it ends you either enter a card and carry on, or the organisation drops back to the Free plan with every project intact: the owner keeps working, the other members keep read access, and nothing is deleted.

What counts as a seat?

A member with the Write role, from the first time they run npx halfcycle in one of the organisation's repositories. Adding a Write member adds a seat; removing one removes it from the next period. Owners and Admins who also write code hold a seat. Read members and viewers never do.

Can I use the Free plan at work?

Yes. A personal project has one owner, and that can be you on a work repository. When a colleague clones it and runs npx halfcycle, the product tells them who owns it and tells you they asked, and offers you the next step: invite them on a Team trial, or give them read access. Nothing is refused without that next step attached.

What happens to my projects if my team moves to Team?

Moving a personal project into an organisation keeps its id, its history, its records and every phase's written record, and every member's install keeps working without running setup again. While you are the only person who has worked on it, it can be moved back.

Where does the cost of the AI itself go?

The planning and the building run on your own Claude or OpenAI account, as part of your normal usage with them. The checks that run off your machine run on ours, and are part of the plan. The console shows both: your account's spend in money where the model's price is known, and your usage against the plan's limits.

What are the limits on Free?

Fair-use limits on how much the service checks and serves, published in the console beside your own usage. When you reach one, the message names the limit, when it resets and which plan lifts it. No Free feature expires by date.

Do the engagements include the licence?

The audit does not need one. The pilot ends with the team on the Team plan, and its price is beside the licence rather than instead of it. A fixed-price build and an implementation are quoted with the plan the organisation will be on afterwards.
