I already have an AI coding tool. What is this?

Nobody gave you the product owner who pins down what you are actually building, the architect who decides how it fits together, the planner who breaks it into work, or the reviewer who reads all of it back and stops you when it is not ready.
Halfcycle is those four.
Start with what you have, because it is good. An AI coding tool, sometimes called a coding agent, is a program that writes code when you describe what you want. Ask it for a sign-up page and you get one, often in minutes, and often it works.
What it will not do is stop and ask whether a sign-up page is what you need. On a real team, four other people would have had a say before anybody wrote code. One owns the product and decides what is actually being built, and for whom. Another works out how the pieces fit together, so the sign-up page and the billing system agree about what an account is. A third plans the order, so the work arrives in pieces that can each be finished. And the last, who did none of the work, reads it back and says whether it is ready.
Here is what that looks like in practice. You ask for accounts. The product owner asks whether one person can belong to two companies. You had not thought about it. If the answer is yes and nobody asked, the code gets written the other way, and changing it later means changing everything that ever touched an account.
